Police Blotter Oct. 8, 2018

Newton Police Department

• James R. Hanold, 53, of Newton, was charged with indecent exposure at 6 p.m. Thursday. According to Newton Police, officers were sent to the 800 block of South 13th Avenue East on a call of indecent exposure. Officers spoke with witnesses and found out Hanold was speaking with two juvenile witnesses at the park inside the apartment complex. Hanold allegedly pulled down his pants and underwear in front of the juveniles. Officers then went to the apartment and interviewed Hanold who told them all he did was talk to the juveniles. He was arrested and transported to Jasper County Jail.
