Join volunteers at the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday as they work on seasonal projects to restore and reconstruct native tallgrass prairie and oak savanna ecosystems.
Interested in giving back to the environment and your community? Stewardship volunteer programs occur on the second Saturday of each month. Activities vary with the seasons and include planting, seed collecting, seed cleaning, brush cutting, and many others.
Volunteers of any age and experience level are welcome.
